HISTORY OF CHOCOLATE

THE COMBINATION OF ROASTED CACAO PIECES DERIVED FROM THEOBROMOCACAO TREE,

WHICH MEANS"NUTRITION OF GODS" IN LATIN,

FORMS THE RAW MATERIAL OF TODAY'S DELICIOUS CHOCOLATES. THE BIRTH OF CHOCOLATE IS BASED ON MAYA AND AZTEC PERIODS

BEFORE CHRIST. IT IS KNOWN AS DRINK OF ROYALTY IN THAT PERIOD. “XOCOATL”, WHICH MEANS "SOUR-BITTER DRINK" IN AZTEC

LANGUAGE; WAS THE NAME GIVEN TO THE CONSUMED FORM OF THIS DELICIOUS DRINK BY STIRRING IN IT PEPPER AND OTHER SPICES.

THE DRINK, WHICH WAS BROUGHT TO THE EUROPE THANKS TO CHRISTOPHER COLUMBUS AND

SPANISH EXPLORERS, UNDERWENT FROM

VARIOUS PROCESSES BY SPREADING THE WHOLE EUROPE BY BEING MIXED WITH SUGAR AND HAS REACHED FROM PAST TO THE PRESENT.

IN THIS JOURNEY,

RESPECTIVELY; IN 1828 DUTCH CHEMIST CONRAD J. VAN HOUTEN ACHIEVED TO SEPARATE COCOA BUTTER FROM THE ESSENCE BY

INVENTING COCOA PUREE (DUTCH PROCESS). THUS, CONRAD J. VAN MADE GREAT CONTRIBUTION TO MODERN CHOCOLATE FOR

GETTING ITS CURRENT SHAPE.THE FIRST CHOCOLATE PRODUCTIONWAS CARRIED OUT BY AN ENGLISH NAMED JOSEPH FRY IN 1847

19 YEARS LATER. IN 1875; SWEDISH DANIEL PETER ACHIEVED TO ADD MILK TO THE ESSENCE OF CHOCOLATE  BY THE END OF A LONG

EFFORT AND HE WAS CONSIDERED THE FATHER OF MILK CHOCOLATE.

WHILE ADVENTURE OF CACAO INTER-CONTINENTAL WAS COMING TO THE CONCLUSION, IT BECAME THE BEGINNING OF PASSIONATE

FLAVOR OF CHOCOLATES OF WESLEY.
